James is responsible for the communications output of the Programme, working with other members of the team to provide clear, concise, and accessible communications for all our key stakeholders.
James holds a degree in Modern History and Politics and a Masters degree in Irish Politics from Queen's University Belfast.
He joins the UNESCO Centre from the Sustainable Development Commission in Northern Ireland where he worked as the Communications and Engagement Manager. In this role James worked closely with government departments and other key stakeholders to ensure that sustainable policies and practices became central to government in Northern Ireland. Previous to this James spent six years working for the SDLP in Press and Communications giving him invaluable experience in public relations strategies and political processes in Northern Ireland.
